It does, when that verminous rodent is the one that caused the loss of home. (Karma does not always wait for another life to act - talk about immediate results! )

I don't think that if the mouse had just died in the fire pit that his neighbor could have come by and torched the place, but if the flame covered mouse leaps from the fire, sprints across the lawn, plunges into the house and starts an inferno - tough luck buddy. Should not have been torturing small animals.

Whatever. I cannot understand how your mind works on this subject.

Could you try and photo the leopard first? Obviously if he is in mid-air coming at you I don't expect you to reach for the Kodak, but I would like to see a leopard peacefully grazing in the back yard...the most I get to see here are coyote, deer and rabbits.

Now, that is straight WEIRD. Not the idea of photographing it, but...

Anyway, here's why I think it's weird:

I was on temporary duty in the UK, and had a LOT of time off. One day, chillin' in my billetting room, I'm watching one o' them cool Beeb nature documentaries, and they're talking about man-eating tigers in India. Seems that one case involved the loss of a Japanese nature photographer that got impatient waiting for his guide to 'gear up' and get going, so he just took off on his own. Never came back. Search party found his camera and some bloody scraps of clothing. When they developed his film...there was a perfectly-focused and center-framed picture of the killer: a big female Bengal, completely airborne, mouth agape, claws out, eyes fixed on the lens, as if to say, 'Here's your picture, baby!'

They showed the photo on the program, and it was beautiful and terrifying. The man died for his craft, and his last picture was absolutely perfect. I saw it again at the Tampa Zoo last summer.
