When I made my screen name, I was obsessed with artillery, and hence, Indirect Fire.
I have no idea what I'm doing. Honestly!

I'm short-4' 11" and a native Texan. My signature reflects quotes from my favorite authors-humorists, currently.

    Freddie Furkensturker

Freddie Furkensturker is a fictional character from a radio station, I liked the way it rolls off the tongue, not sure of the linage, may be German but then again, may be Norwegian.

My signature, Is latin for....... sorry, you'll have to work it out, it's a rough translation.

Personal joke from early computing days about my lack of subtlety when playing FPS games. Also the name of a submarine game series, which obviously inspired the name.

My name harks back to the days when I was interested in history and was going to do it at university, before my teacher put me off.

My title is a reference to the wonderful Blake poem "The Tyger". In what distant deeps or skies, Burn't the fire of thine eyes?

My avatar is a wonderful woman in an aggressive, confrontational pose, sort of like me when I'm on an arrogant streak. (without the jaw-dropping beauty, of course).

My signature is a straightfoward question.

Name is just a nickname I've garnered over the years - not sure about the origin, just stuck, I use it as my handle on most of the boards I've registered on.

The Avatar is Big Mick, far better known outside Ireland as Michael Collins, he was arguably the father of the nation, whom I admire greatly.

"Inaisc na pleidcadhoiri" is Gaeilge, it means "Amidst the jokers" - relevant for the board I think ) !

And the sig is the last 4 lines of W.B Yeats' finest poem in my opinion, Easter 1916, telling the story of the Easter rising in Dublin, which was the catalyst for Ireland's War of Independence - a pivotal moment in our (Ireland's) history.

This screen name is my name. I keep this name often for its brough me luck thus far. Also I seek to impose upon myself & others the utmost of personal responsibility & humanity in a sometimes irresponsible & inhuman world.
