Well, Indians and Pakistanis do make a splash, don't they?

Even now, it is the Indians and Pakistanis who make the maximum posts and even in the Non Asian forums! It may not be graceful, but it does appear that they are a rather aware lot and maybe concerned too of the world!

In fact, it would be worth to know the statistics of the number of posts before the Indians and Pakistanis came and what it is now.

Now, let's look at the brighter side.

Before rarely a non Indian or Pakistani contributed to the Asian Forum. Now, quite few non sub continental folks are contributing and very knowledgeably too. We (I speak without the permission of the Indians or Pakistani members) are proud that we could inject some interest in others to our countries (be it positive or negative, it is immaterial).

I am sure that you all now know that it is not a land of Maharajas, Nabobs, Harems, snake charmers and elephants ambling the streets! I am sure you know now that we are as human with all the human faults as anyone else. And we can fly F 16s too!

I personally have got to know more about Pakistan and Islam. My posts may not show it but I do admire Pakistan doing well inspite of rather difficult situations.

Notwithstanding the acrimony of the posts in the Asian forum, I feel proud to be a subcontinental and also feel good to stand side by side with my brethern across the border, even if I don't always see eye to eye.

I have also got to know a whole lot of non subconitnental folks and the problems and views of other countries too.

In my opinion you are creating a vacuum and then filling it. Which is fine. But I know that when a thread turns into some shouting match about India/Pakistan/Kashmir I start ignoring it.

The Iraq killings, Madrid bombing were still within control of firefighting, but with the London bombing, has the heat got really unbearable?

Peace, Brotherhood and Love will follow as soon as you declare jihad against OBL and the terrorists. Then none can blame the Moslems in general who have nothing to do with the mayhem.
