India's new batting backbone, an opener and a No.3.

Too early to claim the building of a new "Wall" but the signs are good!

The find of the tournament, a bowler more than a batsman, and a revelation for many.

A potent allrounder strikeforce along with Ashwin if they start contributing regularly with the bat as well.

A relatively quiet series, with signs of finding some form. He will be vital in South Africa.

    It's WHITEWASH!!!

"Brownwash" as racially appealing it may sound to you, it actually just sounds.... dirty.

Between poor selection, poor play, injury & India playing well this was a shocker. The obsession of our selectors with picking all-rounders has led to teams that lack batsmen and are packed with average change bowlers. Our pacemen were erratic (on unsympathetic pitches) and poor selection policies meant that the one bright spot - Lyon - was actually dropped for a test. The failure of Warner, dropping of players before the 3rd test, Watson returning to captain...but not bother batting, and the ongoing non-selection of Khawaja were low points. What was supposed to be a platform to build a team for 2 Ashes series this year has left us no wiser. Lets hope we can rebuild before we get to England.

India played well, but it is hard to gauge their quality in these circumstances. It looked like there were some talented young batsmen & Kumar bowled well, but Ashwin seems to be a home turf specialist judging by the last tour of Australia. I'm afraid the 'lions at home, kittens the moment they clear customs' dilemma makes judging the quality of Indian teams impossible. We'll have to wait a while to see if this is the start of anything worthwhile. The other bad news for Indian fans is that very few people in Australia are paying attention. In fact, judging by the one day crowds this summer few people here have been paying attention since the premature end of the test series in January. Football & Rugby season began weeks ago & once that happens any memories of cricket dissappear quickly. Our domestic final is being played at the moment. I doubt many people even know who is playing. So, if you are imagining a nation in mourning I'm going to have to dissapoint you. Most people will have forgotten in a few weeks. If we get whitewashed in the ashes it will hurt more. Enjoy the win, I imagine we'll square up next time you tour.

Yes. Much like 'shower of gold', not a good term to use unless you want people to think you need a shower afterward.

Well, its what happens when you sweep the floor with the opposition's flannels.

I'm actually ok with whatever color you want to give the wash. The bottom line remains 4-0.

The first time in 44 years since Lawry.

And by the only team that stood toe to toe with the Aussies at their prime and gave back as good as they got.

Point also remains that its no use bemoaning a team in transition or the loss of your best generation of players.

A look at the Indian team and the who's who who have recently walked off into the sunset will show that its we who are still reeling from a tectonic shift as the Golden Generation hand up their whites and take to the mike.

Old man Tendya of course still goes on like the Duracell bunny!

    Cricket?

Us, uncivilized South-Eastern Europeans prefer watching fishing. It has more action.

Should I tell him how to post 5 pics at once or is it a bad idea?
