Yes it is 25th of December here because we in NZ are more advanced than the rest of you.
Me, I'm not a big fan of religion per se, but I'm perfectly happy to admit Jesus was in most respects a smart man:

All the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, and so on, are summed up in this single command: You must love your neighbor as yourself.

And besides all that, whether it be your midwinter feast or your midsummer feast, it is a time for celebration with kith and kin to give thanks for the bounty of the earth, the glorious wonder of the universe and all the joy off living in such a time and place.

Merry Christmas everyone and don't forget to indulge yourself.
