As pointed out in the comments section of the first video, you can see something being dropped right into the rotor at 0:17 seconds which seems to prompt the crash.

Its amazing how she just rips herself to pieces once that rotor gets unbalanced. Didn't think the tail boom would fail like it did. If that didn't he may have been able to plonk it onto the ground.
