i used to donate during conscript service, because we got juice, cookies, big cholcolate and a day off which we collected and usually took all out at end of service. to get 4 days off earlier was abig deal for me back then. but after that i kinda forget about the donations, actually i had to do a test when we were waiting for the baby so i could learn my blood type.

    should get back to donate
If i only was so smart yesterday as my wife is today

Minding your own biz is great virtue, but situation awareness saves lives - Dok

Free market baby!! The hospitals don't give it away. Why shouldn't you get a cut for producing it?

My wife said you could donate plasma every three days, whole blood once a week. Whole blood paid more than plasma per donation, but plasma paid more if you went as often as possible. Wife said that plasma ws about $20 a shot, but around the holidays, you could make about a $100 bonus or more. It depended on your frequency, period of years you had donated and if you had brought in refferals. Its a whole damn rackett in itself evidently.

Actually, here the hospitals do give it away... Socialist health care system and all that...

Oh, well, what the hell. I guess I'll just keep on donating blood for free...
