That list is completely arbitrary. The author contends that "it all comes down to the numbers" but until he shows me his formula that turns that list into something more than SWAG's, I'm not buying it

This guy is wrong. 'Numbers' take no account of recent battlefield experience, training levels, sophistication of equipment etc etc etc. It's a bit like saying the Red Army in 1945 could defeat USA today because they have more planes, tanks and men. Numbers are not people.
To give an idea of how accurate this sight is go and look at the CV numbers. They are not updated.
