Back in!

So, I've been away a lot over the last year or so, what with pre-deployment training, Op Herrick and then the obligatory leave periods before and after. But, I'm stuck back in the UK for the next few months in Barracks routine until I get released at the end of the year. Its been good I guess, spent a lot more time in the Ops room in Afghan than I had hoped for but I guess thats how it goes, definitely a life-changing experience none-the-less. I would be sticking around for more but my battalion's not due to go back until at least 2013, and frankly I can't be bothered waiting that long when I'm not interested in promoting and the like. So yeah, that's been it. Sorry I've been away, I'll be more active in the future, at least now I have some first-hand experience to contribute which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
