Mixed martial arts monkey Brock Lesnar slammed the Canadian health-care system as "Third World" this week.
Lesnar, who was out killing our wildlife at some hunting lodge, was suffering from diverticulitis, a condition that causes the colon to become inflamed. Lesnar's intestine became perforated, which meant his body was being slowly poisoned from within.
At a press conference to announce something of no importance to anyone, the former wrestler said he was rushed to a Canadian medical facility that did not meet his standards.
"They couldn't do nothing for me," he said. "It was like I was in a Third World country. I just looked at my wife and she saved my life. I had to get out of there."
Lesnar's wife "drove 100 miles per hour" across the border to Bismarck, N.D.
While we can excuse a double negative at the press conference, we seriously should have issued the lovely couple a speeding ticket.
Lesnar claimed that the care he received in the U.S. and later at the prestigious Mayo Clinic, was far superior and thus evidence that the U.S. health-care system is the best in the world. Well that's great. Hope you never come back.
Incidentally, Brock, one of the causes of diverticulosis in a man of your age is excessive steroid use.
