    Cheers all.

This has been in many ways a challenging year for me. But whenever I get into a misanthropic and anti-Christmas mood, I think about the friends of mine who are enjoying their well-deserved holiday and how lucky I am to have them.

    Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to all! The work is all done, this nice little Jewish boy has fleeced his share of unwitting Australians, and is ready to go Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef in reward.

    And a Happy New Year!!!

I'm sorry if I annoyed people by deleting posts in this thread, maybe I've been spending too much time in metaphorical combat but I just wanted one christmas thread that was just about christmas rather than who's what and with whom.
I shall now go and watch my wee girls tap-dance troop as penance.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

After serious & cautious consideration... our contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2010!

It was a very hard decision to make... So try not to screw it up!!!

My Wish for You all in 2010

May peace break into your homes and may thieves come to steal your debts.

May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for £50 notes.

May love stick to your faces like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!

May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy

May the problems you had, forget your home address!

    In simple words ............

May 2010 be the best year of our lives!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Why oh Why does every year bring presents that say i stink , socks , deodorant, underpants , aftershave , and a new powered tooth brush , not the run of the mill brush tho ,, oh no , this one has gears ,, and the obligatory pullover ,which gets worn once and then discarded after its 1st trip to the pub, just like every other guy,s , but bless em , its the thought that counts

Merry xmas and a safe new year .

Merry Christmas (!) again. Survived to another one. Loot. 4-vol History of the Peloponesian War, loaded portable GPS, bunch of Steeleye Span & Anonymous 4 (once "The Midieval Babes" of yore) CDs so far. Off to the daughter's & nifty new son-in-law's for new (as opposed to old, divorced, banned, consigned to perdition's flames)extended family brunch bearing gifties & Bourbon. They, like the Colonel, prefer Scotch. Well, I prefer Scotch sometimes, too. Or anything else that's brown, liquid & hurts my throat. Or sometimes yellow. Or clear. Or frothy. Etc. See you guys later, if I can still see.

Photo from today in history: We've seen stockings on mantles, trees, and on the side of stairs... have you seen them on Springfield rifles?

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates this holiday!

    Merry Xmas to everybody!

Unfortunately I'm stuck out in Virginia this holiday season, but my mom's care package came right in time. I've been gorging myself sick on all the good stuff she sent me!

    Merry Christmas

A slight delay in responding as Mother Nature made sure that Santa had a suitable LZ last night. Now that an opportunity presents itself, Merry Christmas to all. )
