    Maybe they have a better offer in your city.
    Do give it another try. When I got mine installed, I didn't have to pay because I was a "value" customer(more than 3years of Airtel service).

    They took around Rs. 50 as installation charges and thats it !

    Hi all. Thanks for all the advice, decided to go in for the linksys wrt 160n in the end.
    Have just set it up and everything seems smooth so far.

    Thanks soham. I just finished setting wireless up just how i like it and so far good signal in every room.
    I choose not to got for airtel as i didn't want to go for a proprietary one from the isp. this gives me much more flexibility.
