so everything goes downhill for me

Take heart. The Lord is nigh.

Sinner, take heart. Torture us not, we beseech you, lest the wrath of Heaven fall. Damnation and Hell hath no Fury to match.

Uplift thy thoughts and commeth into the realm of reality and contemporary. Do not quoth the Lord in vain. Seek forgiveness. Salvation is thine.

Downhill ye shall go if thee squat upon the mountains drinking the water of ZamZam from thy well. Lord hath His own way to call even if his sheep graze upon lofty mountains. Heights to reach the Lord is not the Lord's path. All are equal, be they in the air, on the land or under the water.

The Lord is just and in His Justice we await.

He has a complex and we knoweth why.

Forgive him for he has this complex.

The Lord may forgiveth this sinner.

Actually the title of the thread is not the ideal way to put across a point. In fact, it has the opposite effect.

    You are confusing me.

Which Indians are you talking about. The real natives or the immigrants from the India?

You went to Benaras, I guess.

Fortunatly, we all have good schools, to think otherwise.

IIRC Columbus was actually looking for us Indians , and accidentally stumbled upon the new continent...

Hmm , guess what would have happened if he had really landed in India back then....

Lol I have one clarificatiion to make - the US will be what it is now, with or without Indian immigrants. I think Confed and Leader misunderstood me there.

We in India have many challenges to meet, this I concede. But we are moving towards economic and social prosperity. The west didn't develop in a night, niether was Rome built in day.

There are many positive things happening in India, and we believe in building on those positive aspects and using them to alleviate other problems. You cannot brood over challenges, be pessimistic and hope to overcome them at the same time.

    jon_j_rambo, are you American ?

To the likes of jon_j_rambo , who seem to take savage pleasure in mocking at those who are still developing, I say- your constant attempt to paint a gloomy picture on India points towards a bigoted mindset. Your racist attitude absolutely stinks.

My point exactly Ray. Does it really matter which ones we're talking of? America would be the same either way.

    Julie,

    Very true.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
