Never knew a colonel to smile. Even my uncle. They could be funny even without smiling.
Sheesh after considering this it was hard enough to get a wink out of the Chief and you want a smile out of a Colonel?

i think sometime during the promotion from major --> lieutenant colonel, the "smile" gene gets turned off

I honestly can say I have not chewed a major but I did chew more than a few Lieutenants. Those were fun.
