Bed 4 Sale

I am trying to sell a bed frame I recently purchased. I ordered it over the Internet - it was a bit of an impulse buy. Now that it's arrived, I realize that it doesn't go with any of my other oak furniture. I can't send it back. The bed frame is 100% hand carved and imported from India The mattress is orthopaedic, brand new, and hasn't been slept on.

I thought I would give you guys first dibs, but if you know of anyone else who might be interested please forward this, as I'd like to sell it ASAP. I haven't named a price yet, but if you're interested we'll work something out. Anyway, have a look below and let me know..................

Why has it got a firemans pole near the foot of the bed?

Whoa!!, maybe our female members would be interested mmmmm?, seriously, beautiful carvings, wow!, years ago my wife & I were looking round an antique shop, I stopped just inside looking at some items, my wife went in further, a few minutes she came back to me looking flustered & said th-theres an odd l-looking table lamp along there on the right & she coloured up a little, I went to look, & there was a lamp on a base about 2' high, was almost a replica of one of your bed posts, when I returned she was standing outside on the pavement, we then went for a coffee, she never said a word, she was embarrassed, some women would have had an entirely different reaction if you know what I mean but she was rather demure, she never mentioned it again, me, I just kept schtum!!
