Happy Valentines to all those guys out there who refuse to get sucked into the financial handout this event has morphed into. Sorry folks but western women are already the most pampered,spoiled segment of our "poor me" society and I can't imagine feeding this constant demand for more attention and material items as a prerequisite to affection. Please note I am looking over my shoulder as I write this to make sure the wife doesn't sneak up on me.....ssshhhhhh.

I guess I'm one of those individuals that doesn't get that heavy into these kind of holidays! Too commercialized as far as I'm concerned.

The best way to spend this specific holiday is to be with the one you love and enjoy life with them. Sometimes that doesn't always work out but if you're with the one you love, make every day with them count!

Had to spring for a valentines dinner on a hockey night buy peace reigns in the household once again. (guess I should avoid MacDonald's eh!)
