I wish all my Christian buddies a very Merry Christmas.

Don't let the pc brigade rain on your parade.

I sold Christmas trees every weekend for the month of December. I made sure to specifically wish a Merry Christmas to everyone not "happy holidays." I was amazed how many people said happy holidays to me even though I was clearly celebrating Christmas. Freakin' PC bullsh!t.

The term "Happy Holidays" has actually been in currency for decades, long before the concept of political correctness, and is meant to incorporate both Christmas and New Years into the greeting. It's only recently that it's taken on any political connotations, and many people say it because that's what they grew up saying/hearing.

Though it's not surprising that people would be cautious about what they say, given some folk's readiness to take offense at what is meant to be a friendly greeting.

It's a load of rubbish. Christmas is a Christian festival and if anyone doesn't like it tough.

Christmas has lost virtually all vestiges of Christianity - it's a commercial orgy these days.
