C'mon folks. Cheetos, Cheese Puffs, cheese from a squirt bottle - that's not REAL cheese.
I'm surprised at Debbie, a fellow Badger, falling into that trap (and I'm in Californica). Yeah, they're all good snacks (except for the squirting junk), but let's get back to why Wisconsin is called America's Dairyland but even natives there buy from Tillamook, Oregon.
Now, THAT's cheese.

Rusty - I have to go for the fake stuff with the lactose intolerance. I can eat more that way. Otherwise I am destined to just have a little sliver here and there of the real thing.

Ooops! Sorry. I didn't know that. But then I'm often guilty of eating too much cheese. When I make macaroni and cheese, in addition to the packet of crumbled cheese they give you, I add in shreddings of mild cheddar and/or Monterey Jack.
