Because he's GRRRRRRRRRRRRR8@@@@@@@ Josh Beckett is the best pitcher in baseball today. Forget Santana, Beckett is a winner. Yankees need to get Beckett and Matzuka (i think thats how u spell it) away from the Red Sox, just like they took Babe Ruth

I think the Celtics are going to sweep Atlanta; Atlanta is so out-matched its not even funny.

ERROR: a couple of posts before, I wrote the Celtics destroyed the Falcons, I meant Hawks

Guys, im depressed. Ovechkin and the capitals have been eliminated, and stupid refs missed so many calls ONCE AGAIN that would've gave the capitals powerplays. Anyways, I dont know if im going to be watching or keeping up with the playoffs, onto the NBA now.

I bet thats just my rant, and i'll be up and about into the NHL playoffs, so no worries, see you all tomorrow.

Brutal ref calls cost Washington the season and hockey what little credibility it had left....well with me anyway cause I'm so pissed at what was promised to be a season of consistent calls. Brutal. For such a great series and game to be decided in such a manner really leaves a dark cloud over the competence of the current ref core. How about that old soldier Roenick getting 4 points! Watch out for the Sharks folks. Sigh........see ya next year Calgary.

He tore it up in the 2nd period, dharn Roenick. He waited all year, all series until game 7 of round 1 to show up My friend told me to give it two days, then jump on the Penguins bandwagon, but I dont know, I don't really like Crosby anymore. I don't like anything about him, especially the way he gives interviews. I'm more of Malkin and Staal's fan, so i'll see if I can bear with Crosby and jump on their bandwagon. But who are we kidding? Its Avery's world now, I can't wait to see what he does to Crosby or Fleury

Me thinks Pitts will come out soooo flat after sitting around for almost two weeks. Dallas and the Sharks should be a good hitting series and I think your right about the Rangers doing it to Crosby's boys. Still pissed after last nights disaster. Some solace in the Canadian under 18 Jr's doing it 8-0 to Russia in the gold medal game this morning on Tsn. Cheers for them.

Yah, they were up 5 nothing last I checked, 8 nothing wow. Our athletes are getting better and better as the generations go on. Its all due to the great programs they have now, starting with under 17, then under 18, pretty nice. I think Avery will go after Malkin, only because the top line PLUS top d is enough for crosby's line.

I bet you're all hyped about the Colorado - Detroit series. Yeah, theres no Yzerman, Larionov, Federov, or Shanahan, but Lidstrom and Osgood are still there and the likes of Zetterberg and Datsychuk should be enough for Adam Foote to target The old school guys are back in Colorado as well, this is like a game taken out of the history books and played again, I can't wait to see who comes ontop of this one.

Remember the Lemieux hit on Draper! Broken jaw,6 chicklets missing on a vicious hit from behind. These are things that teams never forget. I just think these two teams are "time challenged',hence a hit from behind becomes a run for the toilet.

Oh, our claude lemieux had a big target on his back every game he played against Detroit. The funny thing was, he never got hit as bad as the hits that he delivered Even Federov was in on the violence, NOW THATS what I call good ol hockey; hopefully these two teams can renew their rivalry
