The flyers didnt get a shot on goal for the last 15mins of the 2nd period or so, thats how badly outplayed they are as we speak. The capitals are bringing everything they got, and exarecr, man, did you see the way Federov is playing? I've never seen him put that much heart into it, I tip my hat to federov AND kovalev, they've really turned it around for their teams.

Federov knows this is his last year but I agree Mobbme, the Caps are playing like there on a mission.....but they gotta score more. Philly scores in little bunches and I still have that "feeling", that's kept me out of trouble before, that something bad is going to happen. Ha, Federov just scored.

hehe, yeah, and then Semin, and then Hatcher and THAT got me scared; I was like oh great, not again But the game ended in a hard fought victory Onto Bball now, and then UFC later on tonight. Are you going to watch UFC tonight? Its in canada for the first time, montreal to be more specific, and a canadian is the main event.

Not quite...done a few times before.

By 1988 they had not done it since, I believe, 1945. I was a company commander at the time and I was on a field training exercise (I think gunnery). Anyway, from 1st Platoon Leader was from Mass. and we both were nervous on the possible outcome. Some of my troops were from there as well. Being in the deep South we could not get the game on the radio and of course we were without a TV. However, we could pick up the broadcast of one of our local TV stations on our FM radios. I remember the sitting in my command track listening to the news in the morning and when they went to Sports, the sportscaster said.."And for the first time in 43 years..." that's as far as he needed to go. I grabbed the handset for the other radio on the company NET and screamed into it "BRUINS WIN!!! BRUINS WIN!!!" I could hear yelling and screaming all around th company perimeter.

If you hear a loud roar coming from your South this evening....well, that would be me!

It just happed that the Ducks had trouble with Dallas all season. Dallas has a very effective power play that can take advantage of Ducks rough and tumble, and often penalized style.

I would also question Carlyles' decision not to use Jonas Hillar after game 2 in goal. Jiggy had 2 consecutive poor outings and might as well give the rookie a shot.

Now Burke has some tough choices to make over the summer. I don't think he can keep this team together as is. Some people have to go.

He's coming to T.O, well if the Ducks allow the leafs to contact him. But thats all the rumours, and I hope its true. If we get Burke, I expect big things to happen in Toronto, and can you imagine the buzz? Burke is like the hottest GM in the league right now.

If Burke stays with the Ducks, he'll do his usual big signings, or re-signings. I also expect Niedermeyer to come back for a full year, and I dont know if I can say the same for Selanne.

Go Wings!

But WHY do they keep paying Hasek? They should have kept Legace and stuck with Ozzy as their main man. He ends up bailing them out every time anyway.
