Wow,now thats hockey. Best game of the play-offs without a doubt. Poor Ovey can't buy a goal. The way that puck danced over his stick with the net open was infuriating to watch. Boston ate and spit out the Habs like so much spare rib. This overtime though....wow. Still have Calgary to watch so it looks like a red eye day tomorrow. Back to the Philly game. Cheers hockey fans.

Ah man, Washington defence went to sleep second o.t. The experience really showed, theres approx. 16 players on the capitals that have never seen playoffs except this year
They got a taste of O.T, so they better smarten up before they're eliminated. Yeah Exarecr, I saw that missed chance by Ovechkin, even he was in shock |

I glad I was packing for a camping trip
But I threw a bunch of socks at the TV when the puck jumped over Ovey's stick.
Only game on down here in the South...and it was great! Go Bruins!!!

It ain't over till the horizontally challenged women sings. The Caps will likely win in Washington on Sat. but game 7 will be the end. Calgary deserved better. They played their hearts out(like Minnesota last night)and picked up the loss.I still think the Flames have a shot.......well a tiny shot at winning the series if only to silence the whine of defeat emanating from my disappointed son. What the hell is going on in Duckland. Hockey most foul by the looks of things! Is Dallas that good or the Ducks as bad as they seem? Tonight could be the end of the line for them. Detroit,my pool buddies, are starting to make me nervous. I know the Preds are an ok team but it looks like they could hand the Wings a big hurt if they win in Detroit tonight.Rangers should also easily dispose of Jersey tonight though the location of the game could give jersey a minuscule advantage and then of course there is the Brodeur factor so this ones a toss-up me thinks. Sentimentally my heart is with Washington just because they are definitely the underdog now.Cheers.

Yeah I have no idea whats going on in Duck land. It was Corey Perry's return and they STILL couldn't manage to score goals, but im still not giving up on them; as you say, it aint over till the fat lady sings! I"ll most likely be watching the Rangers game, and then Ducks game tonight and i'm hoping only ONE team is eliminated tonight. If Dallas gets by Anaheim, then we all know they're forreal, simple as that. Heh, the hockey gods are looking down at Detroit thinking "WHAT ON EARTH ARE THESE GUYS UPTO?" They have the best line of forwards and best line of goalies with the top defenceman, but they're tied to the 8th place team that barely made the playoffs

Like I said in a previous post, the Wings have to get by the 8th seeded team first. ![]()

I know its a bold prediction, but I can't give up on them that fast; Niedermeyer and Selanne didn't come back to get eliminated first round! |

Today's Caps game starts in 2 hours(12.30 Kingston time)and if the last game is an indicator of good things to come.......I hope.....for Ovey,s sake they can at least extend the series a while. Just watching the last game was tiring.I hope for my pools sake the Habs lose today. Cheers.

You have some Boston players in your pool? Man, did you see the redwings? LOL what the hell's wrong with them? Whenever post season begins, their forwards choke, its hillarious. Go back the past some odd years, and datsychuk and zetterberg have been doing squat all, its only Detroits defence that is spectacular. I remember the words of Cujo "all you have to do, is score 2 goals, just 2 GOALS!!!" and they would fail to do that |

Well, the Caps are all over the Flyer's but what really alarms me is they have yet to pump in a few extra goals when the opportunity arises to "finish em off ",so to speak. Sadly,I have no Boston players and only have Kovalev from the Habs. All my main players are from Detroit-Rangers. 1 zip Caps. Back to the game,Cheers.
