Sundin is to Toronto much like Yzerman was to Detroit. He ain't going anywhere unless he wants to. Lots of other trade bait. If the Leafs start to lose early again at the ACC the crowd will be merciless. I most be crazy spending this extra cable money for Leaf games.

Trade everyone with a salary greater than 1 million a season, except Sundin, for picks and prospects. Rebuild from the farm system. It might take a while, but eventually all those 1st round picks will mean something.

wow, one in a row and people in Toronto are all gaga as usual. Thank god there was only 3 seconds left in the game when the Canes scored or it probably would have been another Leaf collapse. Meanwhile, the soap at head office continues.

Problem is, sundin's contract expires at the end of the season. I don't want to see him go, but if we're going to rebuild we have to trade him to get something in return. THEN re-sign him in the off season But if sundin goes, then the team goes this year! WHich I won't be too happy about

How seroius in antropov's injury? Man, I switched over and when I switched back I saw him limping. I felt sooo bad inside, I was beginning to get sentimental because im like 'oh god, he was doing so good and the injuries just keep coming at him'. Then I saw it was a puck that hit him, I'm guessing its just a bruise; welll i'm HOPING its just a bruise.

Took it of his ankle I believe. The usual lower body injury report. Hard luck continues. The kids they brought up performed reasonably well. Keep the youth coming I say. Sudin has to stay.

NAHL Tournament

Mahoning Valley Phantoms All six NAHL North Division teams will be in my area for a weekend tournament. The home team is the Phantoms and we hope they do well. A LOT less money than the NHL but just as exciting.

Leafs just beat Boston in what was probably the most boring hockey game in the history of TV. Clutch and grab, the trap, lousy hockey teams.....watching paint dry is more fun than the NHL these days. On to Buffalo.

Speak for yourself. Ducks have some exciting young players who can dazzle the defense and spin the goalie around before they score goals. Corey Perry scored a beauty against Chris Mason today.

Now I watched a few games with Bertuzzi being healthy, he has amazing stickhandling and passing ability for a big guy. The line of Getzlaf, Bertuzzi, and Perry gives other teams a lot of problems. Most checking lines are about the same size or smaller. Most defensemen are smaller. This line can forecheck like nobody's business because they are big, fast, and skilled. Perry is turing into a scorer and he works so well with Getzlaf. I hope Ducks can find some cash and sign him fast.

All due to Luongo. He's scary.

True enough, however you're goalie usually dosn't score the goals you need to win the game. I'm absolutely amazed with the consistancy the Canucks show with scoring from the various lines.

Now if only Toronto could steal some of that mojo....

Being a Vancouver fan I'm all too aware of Bertuzzi's ability's when he wants to play. Not beingthe focal point of the team in the news makes him a better player.

To most Leaf fans in Toronto,"mojo",is likely confused with Young ST. willy and his pet dog. There is no reason for hope in Leaf land this year.........or the next.....or the next......As much as I hate to admit it,sure is looking more and more like a Ottawa-Anaheim final. Ugh,hard to say these words as a Leaf fan. Dare we dream of 3 wins in a row! After watching Buffalo trounce L.A. me thinks Toronto could take it on the chin tonight. Cheers

A win today and fergie's job will be safe... until another losing streak that is! mVancouver Canucks are an average team. Will they surprise anyone in the playoffs? Yes, with another early exit. I don't mean to hate on em assassin, but its time they got rid of some of their players and brought in some players with grit. It's all about winning. Its not about winning for Toronot because of all the money the fans bring in. If toronto doesnt make the playoffs for the next 10 years, they will still have ACC centre sold out; which is the worst thing possible. You have New Jersey Devils with their many stanley cups, but they can't even get one sold out arena in a season! I was talking to my barber the other day and he was like these leafs have so much money, but they don't do **** all wiht it. What he meant was in the general manager position and higher. Burke's made it clear "No one has called me, if they have then it'll be a different story". Leafs should get permission from Anaheim and call up the son of a gun and make him an offer he can't refuse
