My brother is getting a '05 Audi A4 1.8T with auto quattro.
He got it with automatic quattro, premium package, cold weather package, and sports package with all season tires.
He got it on lease w/ $1500 down payment and $355 a month. Guys, what do you think? Is it a good deal or what? I am kinda disappointed that he went for the 1.8T, not 3.0. 1.8T has a meager 170 hp while 3.0 has 220 which means 50 hp for $5000 more. I am wondering what kind of options I have to upgrade the performance of the 1.8T and how much do they cost and what does it mean in terms of decreased warranty or lifespan and value of car over the years. My brother didn't get the audio package which is good b/c they were asking for $1000. I am sure I can upgrade the audio systems better for a cheaper price. 1.8T doesn't have autodimming rearview & outside mirrors which is a necessity to me. I am so damn sicked of those stupid SUVs with their fricking headlights beaming on top of me. It doesn't have the power rearshade either. Is the Audi A4 a reliable car? What are the monthly maintenance fees? operating costs? By the way, the ultimate Audi is the RS6. God! I love that car! But it's damn expensive. over 80,000 buckaroos. What about the new Mustang? I love that new look. So retro. |

Missed that part. Chip and exhaust would be the easiest(and least expensive) parts to add. |

His A4 is a 5spd.
The 86 911 non-turbo isn't a very fast car...but the turbo 911 is a VERY fast car. Not sure what the 0-60, 0-100 times are for the 86 911, but my 83 928S goes 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and runs the 1/4 mile in 13.67seconds @104mph. It also does 162mph(verified by me, lol). |
