What to wear
Oh, I'm so glad you posted that link. All of the other Hawaiian shirts available were for BOY dogs. I told Sadie that other dogs would still find her attractive in a Hawaiian shirt but you know how girls are.

I ordered a mammoth scorpion bowl AND a volcano bowl today for the party.
For all you poor, benighted folks that don't know all the tiki traditions, a scorpion bowl (and it's partner, the volcano bowl) is a huge, garishly-decorated punch bowl that you mix a cocktail called a scorpion in. (A volcano bowl has a little volcano crater rising from the center, and a shot of 151 rum is placed in the caldera and set afire.) While the anointed High Priest of the tiki party (what you effete 'civilized' types call a 'host') chants war cries and invocations to the tiki totems, up to ten revelers drink from long straws. They must finish the scorpion before the magic man finishes the prayer...or they have to start over. Here's the two I ordered:

Is there anyway a webcam can be set up and I can 'particaptely' watch from half the world away? I'll probably get drunk just off of looking at the alcohol. Plus, it's my birthday that day!
BTW, I'm sure I could find a cheap local source to provide the virgins. |

Just so you know - I offered shopping tips and will be giving Dale an accessory for this famed shirt before he leaves, although I have little faith that he will actually show up in the prerequisite shirt at the party. If he does, I need a picture otherwise I won't believe it and I want to see the receipt Dale when you get back that states Hawaiian Shirt - $xx.xx.
