    Tankie

I have noticed that Tankie has not been posting for a few days. One of his relatives has just 'phoned, informing me that he suffered a heart attack, and is currently in the ICU at Barrow-in-Furness hospital.

Not good... I hope he recovers quickly. He's been here for a short time, but he's left me with a vastly good impression. Glyn, if you have any contact, let him know I send my best wishes.

    That is very sad.

    I wish him full recovery.

Any idea where one could send him a letter to cheer him up as he recovers?

Looks to be a dashed good chap.

He and I exchanged many a PMs.

I do wish I could write to him in this hour when he requires all cheer in the world.

Firstly, my best wishes to the man, his friends and family. He's been good to have around, and long may it continue.
Secondly, that photo: I don't think I've ever seen such a collection of reprobates all assembled together in one place.

I have just been phoned by Tankie. The dingbat has discharged himself from hospital! It is now thought that he suffered a severe angina attack due to the stress he has lately been suffering. The hospital wanted him to stay for further tests, but as he has had 3 previous heart attacks HE told THEM it wasn't a heart attack and accepted it was angina. To say the man is impossible is clearly an understatement, but he knows he can return if he feels unwell again, so there is nothing any of us can do about it. Why are none of my friends normal?

Their berets are an absolute disgrace, and if I had been there all three of them would have been in the pokey quicker than you can say Jack Robinson.
