Its a useful idea, but cant it post the entire news text in the thread, like we do when posting? Otherwise, its going to individual link by link, which is a PITA. One might as well go to Foxnews or CNN or whatever, and see whats going on.

As always, feedback on forum features is more than welcome. I don't handle the news bot personally, and I encourage members to send a private message to Chris with your feedback about this feature.

Contrary to what may be the general opinion, Chris is a very approachable and friendly person. He highly values member feedback and the best way to voice your opinions to him is via the private message system. If enough members make their concerns known to him, he will surely act in the interest of the community.

The forum staff decided that the situation regarding the News Bot, and more importantly, the loss of Ray's #1 poster position, could not go on any further.

With the good grace of Chris, the issue has been resolved once and for all.

Personally I have no issue with it, I check it's posts sometimes and sometimes I don't. I found it linked me to some good articles on the fighting in Somalia.
