I'd like to let everybody know that the butter cookies have been purchased and I'll be preparing them for shipment on Sunday. I wish I could post a pic of the stacked tins right now, but I need to get some batteries for my digital camera.

I purchased a couple extra tins and I must say -- they are extremely habit-forming. Five different types of cookies, a pretzel shaped one sprinkled with sugar that's firm and a bit crunchy, a round one that just crumbles away in your mouth, one that has coconut and is crisp and crunchy, another sugar sprinkled one that is somewhere in between in between the pretzel-shaped one and the round crumbly one in firmness, and a swirl-shaped one that is unique in flavor and pleasantly, subtly sweet.

Quite savory and delicious

Also wanted to point out, somehow we are ranked on the first page of Google when searching for "Royal Dansk Butter Cookies"... 10th ranked!

Tole y'all they wuz good!

And how funny is THAT, that we're listed tenth on Google? HAH!

Although, dammit, I predicted this was gojng to happen: we're headed towards a one-subject, boring, repetitive message board, narrow in scope and useless to non-fanatics of butter cookies.

Or India/Pakistan. Make that TWO subjects.

(I'm just glad it's not tractor-pulls... )

Heh, Ray's surname was so long I ran out of space to write everything he had forwarded to me on the first line. Even with his first and middle names abbreviated

I dont know wether you have seen this, but when I used to watch Nickelodeon(about 5 years ago!) there used to be this show "Figure it out" and in it there was this female with the longest name in the world and it took her about 50 odd seconds to rattle the full name out...now thats a long name
