    He is worth around 25 billion(about .25% of the anual GDP of the United States) dollars. He does not make this annually!

    This means if you include all the stocks he owns, his houses, his cars, etc it totals this ammount.

    His actual salary is significantly less then most major CEO's, just under a million dollars.

    He probley pays far less then 1/200th of 1% of the tax base.

    Praxus, all of microsofts earnings are taxed. Their employees are taxed, the money they spend on groceries, cars, icecream, whatever is taxed.

    I bet you microsoft is a hell of a lot bigger contributer to the US tax base than you're giving it credit for.

    true...even the overseas royalty MSFT receives, feds get their cut! Personally Gates is one of the biggest philantropist I've ever known! Though I like Linux, good show Gates!! keep it up!!
