Sometimes things dont end up how they should, a son, a brother, a mentor, a teacher, a cousin, a nephew, a grandson and a god in my eyes.

Who knows what he more could have been...

    You mean Emperor Daily right?

You never did answer the question i asked in the other thread.

Why do you live in a totalitarian state of a city in a state?

Dont you wonder what freedom actually feels like?

Yep, I remember him as well.

Extra points if you remember the Mayors who preceded first Washington and then Daley.

Extra extra points if you know who Edward Vrdolyak was and if you can pronounce his last name.

You don't remember Jane Byrne and Eugene Sawyer?

And you're correct about the former Alderman.

    Nothing, that's the whole point.

For graduating class of 2010, the Soviet Union is something they might - I stress might - have heard about in history class.

But back in the day, the Soviet Union was something to be hated and feared.

For kids today though it's about as scary as the Roman Empire.

I remember the name Jabe Byrne, but I do not remember her as a mayor. As for Eugene Sawyer - I thought he was a reporter.

I only remember Harold Washington and forward - Don't forget...you ARE older than me!!
