There seems to be a shortage of Medical Staff to deploy to Afghanistan and I can see their tours being extended if Government doesn't come up with an answer. Re-opening a couple of Military Hospitals wouldn't go amiss. Good luck and keep safe to Mrs Shiny Capstar MD.

She is perfectly willing to go, they are needed out there and she knows it.

I'll pass on all your good wishes by the way.

Well, he was lucky to survive but unlucky to be shot. I did notice in the report that they were expecting to be attacked. Reminds me when I was in Belfast, attached to an Infantry Unit in the early 70's, if the streets went quite, and all the kids disappeared, there was going to be an 'incident'. It tends to put you on a more alert state. You knew it was going to happen but not when.

*Was in Belfast during the elections and the bombings that followed shortly thereafter. It seems a tankertruck had over run a security checkpoint wounding a soldier and they (Brit forces) opened up (with full autos) on that tank truck. It was found the next morning on the border and when inspected and posted in the news the Brits were surprised to find the individual escaped into Belfast. The tank truck needless to say was a piece of swiss cheese. Somebody must have really been praying for that SOB to escape that unharmed and the Brits that pursued him.

One thing I found strange while there was the closeness of their local news, if your neighbor fell and broke their leg you heard about it.

Well......doctors office called today had reports of the biopsy they did on the female parts. Doc was pretty convinced that there was going to be pre cancer in the uterus. The biopsy proved him wrong. Still waiting on one more test. If I pass that then all female parts below the belt are fine and dandy.

Now you have a clean bill of health, maybe it's time to give them a good work out, um, purely for medical research of corse.
