RP, glad to report that in the three years I've been living on the place, only once have I seen cows loose walking along the country road. Not found of cows really. All those formative years having friends on dairy farms did me in. However, the fox have been visiting eating up mice since the alfalfa has been cut. Wonderful little critters these mice eaters.

Now, we aren't supposed to talk about the crop circles, that just brings in the city folk and then we have to do away with those people and at this point the barn is full of them......errrrmmmm......full of of um.......stuff. Besides, there isn't anything wrong with a little paranormal activity is there?

Wondering if I should get out the tinfoil and start making little hats so they can't read our thoughts like they did in the movie Signs.

I have something like 79 Johnny Cash albums/CDs here, no Merle Haggard or Waylon Jennings.

We used to have cows and dairy farms all over here 40 years ago. Cerritos used to be named "Dairy Valley." Every evening the smell from dairies would be in the air, and after it rained, it smelled badly for a few days.

You mean........you don't have any? But, how do you thwart your co-workers evil thoughts? You know, maybe that is why they treat me differently here.......I hear whispers about tinfoil and my name is mentioned....

I like Johnny Cash, but Merle Haggard gets my heart. Loretta Lynn isn't too bad either.

You ever smell a liquid manure system when it malfunctions and blows poo all over the sides and roof of a barn? Need to pull in the irrigation system on that one as best can. Smell sticks around for about a good mile too.

I was thinking about going to ComicCon and while there watching the grunion run. Alas it's all sold out. I think the grunion run when it's no moon, opposite the full moon.

Just dug up and played "I'm Leaving Now" by Johnny Cash (Featuring Merle Haggard). Interesting lyrics, may strike home to some people....

Ugh.......look the little buggers up and see how horrible they are. Only thing slightly less horrible are the smelt runs that we have up here. Won't touch that crap.
