Worrying indeed Is there anyone you can confide in? If you think/know this Guy is nescient in the job then it is your duty to your Co to bring this to their attention.. At the end of the day he will be found incompetent. As you where tasked to "train" him, this may reflect on you at a later date. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN...so report your concerns of his lack of capabilities NOW..think of one person here...THL

Good luck in a few months time

Its times like these that make you realize what your company really thinks of your abilities

I'm joking of course. They are so impressed with your skills they are sure that you can train this guy to be competent at your job.

The thing is that he is the son of another one of my coworkers. If this was some random doofus off the street I'd have already said something about it.

Ooooh....that's a tough one THL. I recall when I was out on maternity leave, and it may be just the mentality of it all, but I felt job issues were X 10 while I was gone. If I had been there, it probably wouldn't have seemed so bad. Does that make any sense?

Say something about it. Then when the coworker gets upset. Tell him you should have handled it better, then start crying, blame everything on being pregnant and raging hormones.

He will buy it. hell the women that you work with will reinforce your story and you will be off the hook.

Made an offer on another house today...

(***WARNING!*** Debbie sit down before you read this and take a deep breath.)

...higher than the asking price!

A foreclosure, this property was priced $80k lower than a smaller house on the same block. There were two offers the first day, one all cash. It's getting harder.

I was sent this last week and thought it was a photoshop pic, but no, it's real. Although this situation was in South Africa, we have the same spiders here, namely, the "Redback" They are quite venomous and have killed numerous people here and overseas.

Snake Caught in Spider's Web Photographs

Every house here has redbacks, mostly they don't bother you, but having said that, you piss one off and you've got a fight on your hands.

We also have the "mouse spider", it grows up to 3.5cm and is soften mistaken for a funnel web. A few years ago, just out of Sydney, an infestation of mouse spiders evacuated a few houses for a few weeks as thousands, yes, thousands of mouse spiders came out of the ground after four days of heavy rain. They were looking for somewhere dry and thought the houses were perfect, a view not shared by the house owners.

Sydney University moved into the houses and did exhaustive tests on the back yards and found a huge underground colony, never seen before.

And you wonder why I dislike Sydney??

Freddie, suddenly itchy.
