Warn a person will you before you post such a thing. I almost fell out the second story window.

My Dear Mr. Lukins - apologies for the writing and the end to the story that was not what you were looking for. On the other hand we could say our Sapper with his writing skill has for better or worse quite an effect on a woman.

I am in India on a business trip. I am on the East coast, in Pondicherry, a former French Colony. Temperature outside is 45 C and Humidity is around 70%...but I am loving every second of it. Hopefully next week I can visit my home on the West coast.

After 5 long years I will be visiting my home.

Went to the Tampa Bay Rays game last night, playing against the Red Sox. Unfortunately the Red Sox lost 2-1.

There was some excitement, though, for my husband. The gentleman sitting in front of us was Glenn Beckert, 2nd baseman from the Chicago Cubs back in 69'. I don't know anything about him, but he was and still is one of my husbands favorite's, as far as 2nd basemen go! They talked like they were old friends. Of course my husband got his autograph! Very nice man!!

North Long Beach, Califronia weather - last two days:

Low to mid 80's. Too hot to work on my shipyard display boards of historical plaques. Need to have them ready for the Chino Air Show next month.

Please correct me if I'm wrong; but if someone is to advertise, for example; Cheshire being sunny, it would have to be sunny at some stage?

now we are talking about Cheshire in England aren't we?

I was unaware that the sun showed it itself in England, at all

The sun has been having a great time here. Only now is it deciding to have a bit of a rest and go north, but I was unaware it went so far north.

Have a good summer Dave, all three days of it.

Freddie

Freddie if possible, please send me a calender with these aforementioned days so I can book my 3 day a year holiday. I will have you know, "Sunny Cheshire" has been known to break the 18oc barrier..ok it was some time ago but the Carbon(c14) readings in bones proves it. Just you wait another billion years when we are there and you are here, then lets see you take the mickey. And no!! you can pay this time..no more freebies in chains and the good life with meat every other year..no chance, next time you're gonna rough it.

Ok, Day 2 Wimbledon, June 7 and July 24.

Hope thats of help

Knowing our luck, with the moving of tectonic plates, Oz will have moved next to Pomyland.

We grow enough of our own wine here, we don't need anymore whining from the Poms.

So this afternoon before the snow returned Cut some already split firewood in half as it was too long. Then.......looked over at the pine trees. There are nine of them in a dasterdly clump and I hate how that looks. Pines one through five went down OK, but tree number six headed for the garage. Landed partially on top of garage and proceeded to break apart as it was dry and rotten as could be. The other 3 pines will remain as is until I have recovered mentally and emotionally and will then remove those as well.
