Why is it when men go clothes shopping they spend 5 minutes in the store and that includes checkout? I'm going clothes shopping this evening. Hours spent carefully choosing about 20 items then 1 item if any will look good in the horror of the dressing room. Men have it so easy...........

Because us men are on a mission when we go shopping. We know what we want and go straight to it and buy it and go home and watch the footy.

Department stores know this, check out any store catalog, it will have umpteen pages of womens stuff and two pages of mens. It's a waste of time and money advertising mens stuff, unless it's car or fishing stuff.

Now tell me the pic is not true?

I absolutely loathe going to markets with my wife, she has to stop at every stall or shop and check out everything in the shop.

If it's clothes, she has to try on at least three things, without fail.

Then comes the loaded question that every man fears, because he knows that what ever he says, he will be in deep do doos, and that question is, "does my butt look big in this?

There is no way he can get away with an answer that does not awaken the sleeping dragon that will soon be cutting laps around the sky, razing villages and burning crops with a single pass overhead, or is that just my wife?

My daughter's that way! Takes hours to try on clothes.

I'm the type that if I know what I want, I find it, and I buy it. I don't even try on half the stuff I buy, and I've been pretty fortunate!

Hmmm....not all women are like that, I'm not at least and I gave up shopping with a man a very long time ago.

Quite frankly, a man's opinion in clothing is only wanted by me in regards to the bare essentials. Just those couple pieces of clothing that are barely big enough to keep anything inside of them. But then, that led to the Victorias Secret dressing room incident.......

Far as her ever wanting you to go with her shopping again - be as obnoxious as possible, tell her to hurry up, pick out the most horrendous thing you can find and tell her it's pretty, make a jerk of yourself and she will leave you at home from that point forward. Far as the butt question, if she asks, turn around and then ask her if she thinks it looks big and then agree with her - whatever she says - tried that one yet?

You are so lucky, I have to try EVERYTHING on. Mostly for length and yes ok for width.

I just buy the "one size fits all"!

In all seriousness, there is one brand of pants I buy at Target that I love. But they no longer have them in stock. I even check on-line to see if I could order them...and they don't carry them anymore!

There are a few things I have to try on...just to make sure that the support is sufficient!

I'm with you. I hate clothes shopping and I usually wait to try things on until I get home. If it needs to be returned then so be it. Usually it is all good though.

I can usually handle clothes.

Shoes are a bear to find. I wear a 13EEEE. Yes, I am good at stomping out burning things and I am really steady in high winds.

I have it worst. My wife goes through a mall like I do a battle. Recee - vanguard - main force.

She goes through all the stores to get an idea what's available. She goes back a 2nd time to make an initial buy and then go to the other stores and buy things she thinks would go with it - never happen. Then, she goes through the mall a final time, returning things she doesn't like and buy what does go.
