Well, life gets stranger than Chivas and milk, many of us have experienced rough periods lately, I hope the clouds lift for you soon (perhaps right after the hangover).
I've been unable to swallow - it is miserable - no Chivas for me... Just milk.

I'm not much of a fan of Fender or Gibson. Seems everyone and their sister has a Strat. The Les Paul Gibson's are nice, but they don't really fit my image of a "Rock" guitar. They are too round, and the head just reminds me too much of an acoustic or classic guitar. I may be slightly biased because my first (and only) electric is an Ibanez, but they just look plain awesome. The Satch signature line is awesome, as are most of their guitars.
I think that I like most about them is that they are different, they're not Strats or Gibsons.

Dude, Ibanez are good> Seiously. Especially for bass guitars

They're not Strats or Gibsons. Their shape is slightly different, there's a wide variety in pickup selection and combos, and they just look more "Rock and Roll" to me. Strats and Gibsons bore me. I like a Fender Jaguar, but those are far and few between

Les Paul and Strats are classics, maybe that's why.

The trick is to look at the headstock. That's another reason I like the Ibanez. Rock and Roll is sharp lines, like the Ibanez and the Jackson. Curves like the Fender and acoustic headstocks like the Gibson just aren't Rock and Roll
