If people have an issue with it maybe the term is not Ok. But let me tell you something there is no insinuation here and Pakistan actually translates into "Pureland", it was meant to be funny and not insulting.![]()

Whats the use of using other names than India or Pakistan, which both are beautiful?Personally, I wont take offence if somebody were to call India as Hindustan or Hinduland.
Yes, its a turkish word.Stan == Land, right ?

Pure or Pak is a beautiful word and there's no abuse, offence or shame explaining what it means.
But continous use of the word by some of the master flamers here has become transparant to many. Its just sarcasm and nothing else and therefor should be avoided.

As far as the result of the battle is concerned, it was a draw i think? and no body counted the exact death toll, right? I think Indians and Pakistanis should live peacefully like brothers. I really hate to see them saying bad things about each other. Personally i have visited both countries, people from both countries are loving and they don't want to fight each other. Then why some people here try to spread hatred. I think your disscusions should be positive and based on true calculations. But no one should mock about each others loss or things like that.![]()
