They were spread out throughout both the US and British Forces from a platoon leader with the British Combat Engineers to V Corps' HQ. A few operated in AWACs.

Nothing sinister, Captain, just their time was up. I can assure you that the CF is actively encouraging continued exchanges into Iraq in whatever units who would take Canadians. We also are actively seeking experienced British and American officers up here to pass on their experience. My 1 Brigade Acting CO in the 80s was a USMC Colonel for about 6 months. III Corps 2IC was a Canadian Forces Major-General.

The 14 dead Marines is just more evidence it's time to put the AAV out to pasture and get the EFV in service SOON.

By the way one of the dead Marines was KC Royals manager Buddy Bell's nephew Timothy Michael Bell Jr. I doubt the Marines was his only way out of anything.

Cpl. Bell

AAV destroyed
