You're damn right you don't know.

The Taliban didn't show up until years after the Soviets left. The people we armed to fight the Soviets also happened to fight the Taliban. Pakistan backed the Taliban after it showed up not the USA as the USA had simply stopped caring and ceased to support anyone.

Communism was gone in Afghanistan when the Taliban showed up. And there were more then two sides during the war anyways, but guess what dipshit the Taliban wasn't a side during the war with the Soviets... as they were not around to be one...

Dumbass learn to fact check... you don't seem to know ****...

Actually the people the US armed directly were the Taliban, after the soviet gone away from afganistan there were 5-6 years war by internal disputes between factions, until the taliban REACH the power at 1995-96, they borned in the 80s and USA support them, like Ben Laden, and look, i dont need insults to explain that, only because your stupid nationalism pride is in danger

Quote:
The Taliban originated when the CIA with ISI (the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate) recruited radical Muslims from around the world to fight with the Afghan mujahadeen against the Soviet Union. The United States wanted to demonstrate that the entire Muslim world was fighting against the USSR along with Afghans and American benefactors. And in 1980, Osama bin Laden arrived in Afghanistan, bringing funds from the reactionary Saudi Arabian ruling class to the mujahadeen. When the CIA and ISI decided to train thousands of Muslims from around the world to fight in Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden was one of the key organizers in this effort. The author estimates that after 1982 more than 100,000 Muslims from dozens of countries received political or military training in the CIA-backed camps of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

It has nothing to do with "national pride." You wonder in here. Don't even bother to introduce yourself. Pick one fight after another, and call for the murder of myself and my country man. I just hate low life scum like you. Someone will come along and kick you out on your ass soon enough and you'll have to find another place to troll.

Nice to see you changed that weak crap you had up there before. Unfortunately you replaced it with something completely unintelligible, troll.
