Battle for Mosul, Part III

Hey guys, this post would be incredibly long if I cut and paste, so I'll only add the link. A highly recommended read if you want to get a feel for the day by day actions of 1-24 Infantry in Mosul. It runs the range of events, from capturing homicide car bombers on the eve of their attacks, the emotions of soldiers getting KIA, trying to save a young girl with a heart condition. This should provide a feel for what it is like to be on the ground, something that you can't get from the MSM.
