She might have shown off infront of her constituants but she pissed off alot of people and I dont just mean Republicans either.
...I've been saying this, y'know - the ad hominem attacks on GenPet are unacceptable. You don't need to repeat my own sayings to me... In fact, I'm the one who said them. (Props to Scrubs.)

She is nothing but a piece of trailer park trash that believes since the Dems hold the house she can insult and disrespect as she pleases. Her husband is a complete joke when it comes to the word respect for the American policy and people as well as his marriage and the Oval office. He dodged the draft/did unspeakable things and tarnished the office of the President of the U.S.. And these ******** want to run our country? Not much the military in which she insults? I would use many other words for her as a description however in fear of offending the ladies that come to this site.
There's really not much to debate here. I don't particularly care about Monicagate - at all - if that's what you're talking about.

But I must point out a curious silence when it comes to anything Republicans do bad, or maybe I just don't read enough posts of yours. You certainly haven't said anything about many GWB scandals. Either way, even M21Sniper, Mr-Carpet-Bomb-Till-The-Cows-Come-Home, openly attacked GWB. If he can vehemently criticise a Republican, I'm sure anyone else can. I think I have one or two people to agree with me in this thread - both current or former members of the US military - that you and others - in fact, tens of millions - base accusations essentially on party and personal feelings and not on the actual meat of what they say. And, as I demonstrated, it is not for lack of genuine ammunition. Come on, I want to hear you say that Tom Lantos is a disrespectful insolent.

This is exactly where my view comes from. Herself and Reid are showing classic Demo respect for the office of the President and the Military as long as a Republican sits as President.
Freudian slip? :p

[quote] And I hope that every single American out there saw her testimony and heard it as well. I would not be as childish as some people in saying that I would leave the U.S. if she or he became president but Im in the firmist belief that any true American that listened to the hearings has a new venom for Reid and Clinton and surely would never dream of these blights as a future President of our country.
****, I would elect Mickey Mouse before I would vote for such childish, spiteful disrepectful trash such as those two Dems.

Quote:
In other words David, both made a very critical mistake. One very much the same as John Kerry has in the past time and time again. Their disrepect for the sitting President and his policy spilled over into disrespect for the very men/women that are responsible for this country and its citizens safety and interests.I can only imagine how those troops feel when their very leaders honesty and integrity are called into question while serving far from home and Im positive that after the past two nights hearings they have a completely whole on view of two of the most disrespectful Demo politicians to ever sit in the house much less NEVER served the military nor understand their vows when called to serve this country and ANY president which sits beit Demo or Repub.

Now if you want to debate then lets debate this.
There is nothing to debate. It's an angry rant throughout and never once mention the intellectual meat of what anyone, Republican, Democrat, military or civilian, said.

So, a Navy man & an Army man disagree with how to run a ground war on foreign soil? Phew, I though we were going to talk about something NEW here.

I don't know the Admiral, nor do I know Gen. Petraeus--although I know OF him (maybe since I myself was in the Army & all). I DO know that Gen. Patraeus took danged good care of his Troops while he was their Commander. Don't know how that plays out with his being spokesman now, but I can't see him saying anything that might eventally hurt his Troops.

P.S. For the record, I'm not saying that Navy personnel don't know how to properly conduct ground operations with my initial comment--at all. I'm just saying that this isn't (by far) the first time a Navy & Army person has had a "disagreement" over how to conduct one. It could just be that what Gen. Patraeus was bringing to the table was close to 180 degrees out from what the Admiral (as CENTCOM Commander) had planned...who knows?
