Look! Photos from a war zone. They sure are bloody. I bet this is the bloodiest war ever. Wars are getting bloodier and bloodier just like global warming. And it's all George Bush's fault.

I'm still tring to figure out what the purpose of this post is. I think we have all seen grisly war photo's before...oh wait...this is another terrorist supporting anti-U.S. post again isn't it?

Look at the big bad American soldiers patting down kids because terrorists like to use em as human shields and mobile weapons lockers......

Wait! Since when was there going to be blood in the war? Who authorized this? Why, the US media had us believing our troops were over there planting flower and vegetable gardens - what happened to those photos?!

(On a side note, with a good cleaning, I think those big area rugs in the larger photo could have some potential. )

They're very nice, there's a merchant comes through here from Iran twice a year, outrageous prices but he does like to haggle (sadly very few people in NZ know this ancient and honorable skill) so the last ones we got were less than 2/3 asking price.

I picked up a rug from Iraq - it wasn't finished when I left, and so I ended up with the wrong one. It's still nice, but it's actually bigger than what we wanted and so it's rolled up now. Hopefully, the rug store women haven't gotten gunned down for selling to infidels. If I dig up pictures later, I'll post them.

Is it just me or is the soldier in the bottom pic have different camo than American troops?

It looks British or Austrailan maybe.

Grundy, I think you may be referring to the suicide bomber during the thrust to Baghdad that tried to take on a 38 ton vehicle with a predictable outcome - he got the Bradley Fighting Vehicle dirty and the explosive vest removed his head from his torso.

I believe it is standard US Army/Marine procedure to clear ammunition and weapons off killed enemies. Hence the lack of weapons in the photographs...
