The lads deserved the beatings in my point of veiw there lucky they didnt get shot. This is war for god sake not no holiday camp. The british troops did good to controll the situation. They took a little beatin its better than getting shot. Baring in mind the troops were getting rocks polted at them and grenades. God bless the british army.

There is something called the Queen's Rules and Orders. What happenned isn't exactly Good Order and Discipline. In case you haven't noticed, there are two Queen's Officers posting on this thread.
