What I was trying to make a point was, just because you don't like the person who has created the thread, its just not right to argue with a "So what? You suck too!". If you can't stick to the thread, and especially not derail it with an insult or a flame, just don't contribute to the thread.

I agree if they do this they should be givin 1 warning if they do it again a ban. btw You might want to be careful they might try to accuse you Asim of this just because you disagree

All Gio would have to do is ask, he knows that.

Why do you want to be MOD man? You've got like 7500 posts. You obviously have a lot to say. You can never do that, as a MOD. Everybody will be kinda nice to you, even if they want to disagree, they'd have to term it in less offensive words. Nothing could be worse! I run a site with roughly the same activity as this place, but I post a lot more on WAB forums than over there! Everyone's freakin nice to me over there!

Alright yeah so coming back (haha I freakin started to crap my own thread about thread crapping, no more talk about Sniper's MODship!). Eric, I personally would hate people like Srirangan or even the Indianguy to get banned. I mean they starkly differ from my point of view, what better could a person ask from a discussion board!? But the message should be OUT THERE that if they do so and so, they CAN be banned. Sure rules the rules are there...

I was a mod here before, and i wasn't what you'd call 'nice'.

I don't really want the job, but i'd do it to keep WAB from getting trollized because i like this site and some of the posters that much.

I've never justified Pakistan's shortcomings with the wrongs committed in India. I'd consider myself to be a weak pathetic man, if I did so, I take challenges head on.

Like this thread is about thread crapping, but somehow I know it'll get crapped over as well.
Come on dont think so that we discuss YOU when you are not around.Ok some one around might have said "would be wonderfull to hear what asim has got to say abt this" or "how is he going to save his a#$ this time around " on some stupid things that happened in pakistan.Thats it?
If anyone tries to cover up ones shortcomings by pointing out and saying "hey look their they are also same as us".you know very well at whom the world will be laughing at.

    So get over it.
What's the difference between people who pray in church and those who pray in casinos?
The ones in the casinos are serious.

"you got booted or you left?"

That's an issue solely between me and the admin staff of WAB.

    Sorry.

    1. Never adds to the discussion.

    2. Incapable of posting anything other than off topic insults to the Pakistani or Kashmiri posters.

    3. Unable to follow the topic, so substitutes snide one-liners for intelligent replies.

Then I would move on to RANI LAKSHMIBAI.

    1. One trick pony. Posts only troll threads. Started with his intro, and has gone downhill from there.

    2. Insults the Colonel.

    3. Unable to follow the topic, even when he starts the thread himself. Posts incredibly long rants that no one can read. Talks down to everyone who doesn't agree with him. Brainwashed.

    I have more....

    I vote for...

    M21Sniper for Global Mod!

    <insert maniacal laughter here>
LYND? PunjabKiFauj? "Aryan"? Platinum? How come those don't fix the bill Highsea?

The reaction from Indian teens is expectable when you end up realizing that all of the Asia forum is nothing more than filled with anti-India hate threads. There was one thread where "some poster didn't trust america", we saw what reaction it got. Why can't you accept that Indians too will react in a similar manner against all the hate threads posted in the forum?

Asim, you lie about your origins. You speak as a Kashmiri while you aren't from Kashmir. It doesn't matter if your great grandpa was. You are not, stop pretending to be one. I felt it was important to highlight this, and so I did. Will do each time you pretend being a kashmiri talking against "Indian oppressors".
    I rant, therefore I am.

Well, the first one you mention is already banned, should we ban him again just for good measure? The second one I would say is pretty close, but at least he posts articles for discussion. Personally, I can't stand it when people post articles with no commentary, but that's not against the rules here.

The last two participate in the discussions, and usually put up arguments for their position, post articles, etc. I agree they are not always nice, but neither are the articles/comments they are responding to.

Of course, if it was up to me, I would ban ALL trolling threads, and enforce civilized discourse. I prefer quality over quantity. But it's not my board.

Sri, you know I don't consider youth or immaturity as an excuse. I disagree with you that the Asian Forums are filled with anti-India hate threads. There are plenty of anti-Pakistan hate threads also, interspersed with the occasional anti-America hate thread. It is a lovely forum, isn't it? No shortage of trolling/flaming there...

Imo, the "why I don't trust America" thread got what it deserved. We both know it was a troll thread, and there is only one direction that kind of thread can go.

Nobody's perfect. I have been known to go off half-c.o.c.k.e.d from time to time myself. Even so, I don't make a habit of it, and I rely on facts rather than insults to make my point. I try to post on a variety of topics, and I try to contribute something useful to the board. The two posters I singled out don't do that. Sure, there are others too, I wasn't trying to make a comprehensive list.

Like Asim, I don't want them to be banned, I would prefer they think about what they are contributing to the board, and ask themselves if they don't have more to offer.

Fine, to you I lie. To me, I belong to those places, perhaps trace amounts of DNA's might be within me to prove these origins as well. But till we meet and have those tests (YOU ARE PAYING!), get off my back about my origins. Its none of your god-damn business. I can go ahead and start explaining these origins but there's something called privacy. You already seem a little loose up there, who knows you might set forth on a mission to track me down or something. I've roots in Kashmir. I've roots in UP. The Kashmiri side moved to Lahore. The UP side moved to Karachi. If you were curious, that should be enough. If you're just doing this to insult/target/assasinate me, oh well then :p not telling you any more.
