Thanks Chris for the hard work and generosity. The adverts seem to be hassle free. I'll just have to click on a couple each time I use the board (who knows, someone may actually buy something from one of these ads, lol).

I found this great site by accident, one night I got drunk with my buddies and after a good 10 bottles of beer we started a silly argument of M16 vs AK-47
So I decided to check what internet has to say about the issue and here I am. Comparing the members here to an open forum where you don't have register threre's a huge difference, be polite to other people and you receive what you give.
Anyway I've enjoyed the conversation here and will continue to share my point of view on things.

    Hello guys

Firstly, thank you all for your hard work in creating and maintaining this forum. I don't post much, but I read this board often.

I read this thread and contacted my friend, who owns a hosting company. I talked to him and he says he can hook you up with a really good deal on their best server with a daily backup.

How can I get him in contact with you?

I, for one, wish you would post more often! I find your input quite valuble.

Thanks for the offer, but the board is actually owned by a four year old web hosting company. The actual web hosting isn't the main issue, it is due to the growth rate of the board and the fact we will probably need to move it over to a clustered server solution pretty soon.

I use alot of boards with Google ads on the sides and honestly they don't bother me. I say try them, and if it does seem to effect the board in a negative way, go the route of a yearly board fee. The Board has to change with the circumstances, and if it's the fee you need, post an address and I will be glad to forward it to you Chris. I've been here, give or take approximately 3 years, and I don't want to see your efforts, as well as others, go to waste.

Thank you for all of your hard work.

Chris, go ahead with the ads. This a great forum and it feels good to interact with a wide network of individuals and professionals out here.

Whatever the WAB does, it will be fine.

Its a great board and it must have taken a lot of hard work.

A big Thank You to you all.
