Is there a book out on this? I'd love to read one if there is.
Sean Naylor, senior Army Times correspondent and author of Not A Good Day To Die-The Untold Story Of Operation Anaconda (heavily discussed by Shek, Aussiegunner, Bigfella, myself and possibly GunGrape back in our Stratpage days) has released a very interesting investigation into U.S. SPECOPS around the Horn of Africa-
The Secret War In Africa-Sean Naylor Army Times
Naylor is a superb correspondent and this is a valuable contribution to our understanding of operations that have largely, thus far, been cloaked in an immense amount of pseudo-secrecy. We know they're going on. To what extent, however, is the far more interesting question.
Naylor answers some of that here.

Don't know what Naylor's plans might be. The story is pretty extensive in any case. If you read it you'll note that some of those whom he interviews have done books of their experiences in the horn.
