I agree, he's conveniently ignoring some basic facts.
I also like how the the F-22 "turned out to function poorly" and the F-35 is "more advanced".
Or how about:
"the U.S. Navy has spent countless billions of dollars on "surface warfare ships" whose aluminum superstructures will likely burn to the waterline if hit by a single missile" - Surely he's not talking about the current mainstay of the USN surface warfare ship, the Arleigh Burke-class, that was specifically designed with a good ol' fashioned steel superstructure?
I kept expecting to read a scathing dismissal of the Stryker "truck" and advocating the M113 SuperGavin
