Outshoot the Islanders 61-21 and skate away with 1 point. Can.t really bitch about them because they are at the very least .....trying. Still haven,t decided if this years jersey will be the Blackhawks or the Leafs?

Leafs go for 2 in a row tonight against Buffalo. This team seams ready for something, meaning a run of a few more games or the predicted slide back to the slim pit with the bottom feeders. Still looking for the opportunity to wear my Leafs jersey this season.

Well, I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised on how my Bruins are doing so far this year. Unfortunately, I can only catch a few Caps games here in Southside Virginia.

Great player....I still can't figure out that deal.

Picked up 11 of 12 points in last 6 games. That's getting it done!!!

Wow! Four wins in a row and Kessel gets 2 goals. Dare I say it,but it looks like the Leafs got the better deal for once. Heck, they just might reach a play-off spot if they keep going the way they are.

Ya. I'm not sure about that. 1st round and 2nd round selections in 2010 and 1st round selection in 2011. Yikes, Burke severely handicapped your drafts for the next two years. Worth it if you think Kessel is a franchise player, I don't think he is.

Did anyone catch the Flames topping the Sharks last night? Just a fantastic hockey game, had absolutely everything in it. Huge sigh of relief to see the Flames shut-down a top team, given the troubles we've had with Chicago this year.

Man,after watching what Boston did to them I don,t know what to think of this batch. I think,"catch em whilst you can" was Burkes policy with respect to Kessel cause there wasn,t a whole lot out there and draft picks for Toronto have always been disaster for the Leafs anyway. My sons a huge Flames fan(we were at the Flames Ottawa game last march,Flames pounded them )and he seems to think this is the year they can make a real push. Tonight the Leafs start a stretch of 8 games in 14 days that will decide the season for them. Anything less then 6 wins will be a season ending run. Tonight Atlanta is is town. They have the best road record, the Leafs the worst home record. The clash of the Titan and a half.

What happened to all the hockey fans here?

The Kings are still winning and the Ducks suck even more than before.

I'm a Hurricanes fan so there's no reason for me to come to this thread.

I thought the Winter Classic was great.

Let's include the couple Russians on this forum in here, what's everyone's thoughts on the Olympic tournament coming up? I guess the U.S. went young with their lineup so if we get a medal that'd be nice but not really expecting much.

I'm not really a hockey fan, but someone at work just gave me tickets for the Rangers vs the Montreal Canadiens in March, so I guess I'll get a crash course.
