    Holy wow.

The pros just bent the kids over a fence and plowed their field.

I'm disappointed at how childish the Pens are as individuals and as a team. I'm not a "bag on Crosby because he's good" kind of guy, but I have to say I haven't seen anything from his on-ice demeanor that makes me think anything but "punk". And he's wearing the big "C"? If I were his coach I'd teach the little shite a lesson and take the letter away from him next season, otherwise hockey will become no better than the NBA.

If the Pens win the cup this year it will be in spite of Crosby & Malkin's behavior, not because of it, and I don't know if I could think of a less complimentary thing to say.

    Welcome to the club )

I do, however, like Malkin and Staal.

Dale, I stopped watching the game after Detroit got the 4th goal, then my cuzion called and said Detroit scored again lol but did something happen after that brought you to dislike Crosby and Malkin? I tried to search for something online but all I could find were the penalties that Talbot and Cooke got -misconducts

This game I think Malkin was pretty tame, but of course the instigating on Zetterburg at the end of game 2 was a punk play that ended up being rewarded by the league.

This last game Crosby took a little slash at Datsyuk's feet (his known injury spot) that sent him down at the boards, and Talbot had another weenie hit on someone that was just bad sportsmanship. Add to that the little chop that Crosby took on Maltby after the first game and it just adds up to a childish little prick "leading" a childish little team that needs to grow up. Hopefully next season Kronwall or Maltby will pull the little boy's jersey over his head and beat him into the ice in front of 20,000 people, teach him a little lesson.

I'm not saying Crosby's not good with the puck, and I'm not saying that the Wings and every other team in the league don't take their shots and even get away with them (hell, I've seen Holmstrom take some Olympic class dives over the years). And even in the middle of a scrum or a fast play it's one thing to get an elbow up or a stick across someone's shins; but away from the puck, or even worse, after the final horn in the Stanley Cup Finals is just 100% pure punk. Crosby is a disgrace, and obviously too young and green for as much responsibility as they've given him.

Give him a basketball and some stupid-looking shorts and let him go choke an NBA coach, or give him a baseball cap and let him spit on an umpire or something, but get him the hell out of the NHL. Or if he stays, at least put him and Sean Avery on the same team and let them stink up the ice together - at least that way we'd know which games not to watch.

Yup, I believe all that. One of the main reasons why most fans hate Crosby is because he's a whiner. I think they're getting desperate and will do the "whatever it takes to win" too literally. It reminds me the year Carolina won, they played dirty throughout the whole playoffs but in a very clever way.

In the pittsburgh - washington series when washington went up 2-0 you should've heard all the whining those punks were doing. Crosby was going off everyday complaining about Ovechkin -Crosby has the same amount of goals as Ovechkin but Ovechkin didn't even say one thing about any penguin's player except Kunitz who cross checked Varlamaov (legit complaint)

I still think the series will go game 7 only because they play game 6 in Pittsburgh and they will try their hardest to get Crosby away from Zetterberg.

Goodluck to your team though, I hope hossa gets to hoist the cup

I can wheedle one night off from my boss this week. Last year I picked game 5 and guessed wrong. I think I'm gonna pick game 5 again this year. Yeah, it's the Pen's ice but I just don't credit them with being able to stave off the Wings this year. I see another collapse for them. All we need is one flutterer at MAF and it's in the bag.

    I hope.

Its 3-2 right now, so you mean game 6 Dale :P But I don't blame you for that minor mistake, the way the Penguins got beat last game, whodda thunk it they'd win 2 games?

    I hope there is a game 7

I just looked it up, Lakers game is also on tuesday This is not good at all. I guess I'll be flicking back and forth once the lakers game starts at 9pm

It's just basketball. All you really need to watch is the last minute of the game, which will probably last 25 minutes with all the timeouts and fouls.

I would vote for Scott Niedermeyer if he were in it. He looked like Papa Smurf in 2007.

Oh come on, no one comes close to Kris Draper's beaver. That thing could house a flock of starlings.

Poop. I jinxed 'em again by taking the night off of work to watch. Now I have to watch the score ticker at work Friday night. :(

Good game though. Pens were so so, Wings were good but didn't get the bounces.

Zetterberg or Franzen for sure. Both of them look like Moses. Moses from the movie 10 Commandments (I don't claim to have seen him in real life)

Cindy's is just embarrassing, god, shave it off cuz it ain't bringing you luck

The refs were completely against you lol but hey, game 7 is the best.

I didn't even know there was a game 6 last year, I thought Detroit won it in 4 or 5.

Detroit will win it, why? The match ups are too powerful for the Penguins to do anything about it. If Zetterberg and Datsychuk are 100% they will win -but we won't know their injury level until a few weeks later.

I can't remember which game it was, but I took the night off to watch their first chance to clinch it and they didn't.

And yeah, I hate mentioning the refereeing but the penalty against Z for getting shoved into the damned net was frikkin' ridiculous. He even did everything he could after the shove to avoid him. But whatever.
