Man, I don't know what the hell I was watching or did I hallucinate or something, the Rangers lost to the Senators last night I thought the Rangers won 4-0

Calgary will bounce back. Calgary is the dark horse, or maybe Vancouver is, well one of the two is the team that's going to surprise everyone this year.

The Canucks are making my son real nervous. Makes me smile when I hear the hopefuls in Ottawa suggest they are play-off bound.))

Senators have been on a wild ride as of late, but they'll be playing against Brodeur or Boston if they make playoffs, which will lead them to get swept if not losing the series 1-4. But hey, don't these teams that come on strong at the end AND make the playoffs make a wild run in the playoffs?

Kinda like Toronto eh! I do believe there is one more Ottawa T.O. game remaining that could decide the issue.....

Yeah, I was arguing with some broads from Vancouver and they were making fun of our leafs. They were going on and on about how we're not even in the playoffs and I shouldn't hate on their team. When I told them that we wanted draft pics, the intelligent one goes to me "well, you suck at losing too, you have to be in the bottom 5 to get the top draft pic" lmaooo

Glad my Bruins decided to win a game again instead of thinking about winning a game!

At least you have a contender in your team. Bruins are just ironing out the bugs. I could see them and Detroit battling it out in the final. Even though I think Calgary has an outside chance of getting there. Jersey is going to be the other team to beat in the east.

Which is why it was so critical for the Bruins to get that win yesterday. Too much mojo with Brodeur....had to slow it down.

As Barny Fife said, it was time to nip it in the bud!

Problem with Detroit is, they have the exact group of guys from last year's stanley cup winning team + Hossa. I'd be scared as hell to face Detroit.

Have you guys been keeping up with the Sidney and Ovechkin tirade that's been going on? Ovechkin's controversial "hot stick" celebration after he scored his 50th goal was the icing on the cake.

I personally loved it. But i'm sure some of you oldschool guys were pi$$ed off hahah

Those damn refs. It,s almost like they were told Washington had to win. How they didn,t call goal tender interference on the tying goal is a mystery? Now the Leafs are 6 points out and of course the faithful have them running amok in the play-offs already. Flames at Pitts tonight. Maybe Crosby will challenge Iginla to a scrape!))))

Iginla will chew Crosby up and spit him back out. Crosby's fought one or two guys in the league, both who were smaller than him.

Leafs pulled out with the win though. They are serious about winning.

Exarecr, why did the leafs trade away Tucker and not re sign Sundin if they were planning on making the playoffs? I thought all along Leafs would be going for the bottom 5 so they could land Tavares. Is this a big screw up by Wilson? Not making the playoffs, and not getting top 5 draft pick?

Leafs are trying to be the best team not to make the playoffs.

Is this Tavares kid really as good as you say?

    Whatever happened to Alexander Daigle?

Hahahah I read about Daigle like 2 days ago :P He was a highly anticipated player as well, but he couldn't deliver. I hope Stamkos bounces back next year, or he'll be a Daigle.

Tavares' shattered every record in the OHL. This guy has really soft and quick hands. He reminds me of Malkin. He's also a pure goal scorer with Crosby like play making abilities, so I say he'll be better than Crosby.

He's said he'll play for any team. His agent has said if it were upto him, he'd stay away from playing in New York (islanders), Atlanta, and Tampa Bay.

No wonder he's good. He wears my number.

Ducks finally found a center for Selanne. A young center named Andrew Ebbett. He's fast enough to keep up with the old guy. Even at 37, the Finnish Flash can still turn it up a notch and burn the defenseman.
