They're overrated in the sense that analysts have them picked to be one of the top teams. They are not at Philli's and Boston's level.

Pens lost Gill (very underrated) and Scuderi (excellent shot blocker) to free agency. Gill was a horse, not as good as Pronger but he was a beast back there. I don't see Pens going all the way with their current roster, BUT, and there's always a BUT with Penguins, at the deadline they will always make a trade and bring in a rent-a-player, this year it'll definitely be a D-man and not forward.

If the Rangers gel together nicely and Gaborik stays healthy I believe the sky's the limit for them.

My prediction is Philli or Boston but I'm hoping for Capitals to get to the cup finals

I only got to see the first two periods of the Avs and Sharks after getting home last night, but based on reading some Bruins' fans thoughts on their game, either the Caps are awesome or the Bruins are awful.

(P.S. San Jose didn't look good.)

Sure they can - they're the Wings. Honestly though, I miss the regular season games. Playoff hockey is playoff hockey, but it's nice to see a game without feeling an ice pick in the stomach every time the other team scores.

Plus I get to know the new guys' names.

Hehe, I hope your right. I got nothing against Detroit or any other team in the West -not that I can think of any right now, oh yeah I don't like Luongo.

So you get to watch the regular season now? Thats awesome

Every Swede on Detroit will most definitely be on Team Sweden for the Olympics in January, you think they'll still make it to finals? Really hard to predict Dale

No worries, you'll be 0-2 tonight after losing to the awesomeness of the Carolina Hurricanes. )

(we looked sluggish last night and couldn't do anything on the power play against the Flyers)

The Avs, widely accepted as the doormat of NHL this year, is 2-0.

LOL, weird start to the season eh, lots of unpredicted results. Even though the Flames are 2-0-0, I haven't seen much of this defense-first approach the Sutters promised. We've started both games well, but the 3rd period looks like the Keenan Flames, playing some bizzarre prevent game that makes the other team look really good. It is early though, and I can't complain about the results, our PK needs work though...

Nicknamed "Rizzo" after the gold medal-winning team's captain Mike Eruzione, Josh sparked an Internet sensation this week when his hilarious, inspirational and eerily impeccable interpretation of actor Kurt Russell's locker room speech as Coach Herb Brooks went viral

That Ovechkin line is completely unstoppable. Maybe its just the beginning of the season and everyone else is still rusty, but man oh man Ovechkin has 6 points in 2 games already.

The Flames are 3-0 and the Canucks are 0-3, it doesn't get much better than that. Although we've played well, we might be lucky to be 3-0 right now. Our shots against are way too high, I think because the players are still trying to figure out this defensive style of hockey they are supposed to be playing. All three third periods have been difficult to watch, with most of the play taking place in our end.
